Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone Ltd. The project, which forms a significant part of the Invest in Kerala initiative, is poised to usher in a new era of logistics and industrial growth for Kerala.

The logistics park, strategically located in Kochi, spans 70 acres and will feature 1.3 million square feet of integrated logistics infrastructure. With an investment exceeding ₹600 crore, the project underscores APSEZ’s commitment to building modern, sustainable, and efficient logistics solutions that support regional development and align with India’s growing trade and industrial needs.

The facility is designed with a strong emphasis on sustainability and innovation. It will include EV charging stations, smart logistics technologies, and digital platforms that enable seamless end-to-end operations. The park is expected to significantly reduce transportation costs, streamline supply chain operations, and boost export competitiveness across key sectors such as e-commerce, FMCG/FMCD, pharmaceuticals, automotive, and retail.

One of the most significant outcomes of the project will be job creation and skill development. The Adani Logistics Park is expected to generate over 1,500 employment opportunities, contributing to Kerala’s economic development. Additionally, it will foster the growth of small and medium enterprises (SMEs) by integrating them into the supply chain ecosystem, thereby strengthening local business participation and industrial expansion.

Speaking at the occasion, Ashwani Gupta, Whole-Time Director & CEO of APSEZ, emphasized that the Kalamassery Logistics Park represents a milestone in APSEZ’s transformation from a ports-focused enterprise into a fully integrated transport and logistics business. He highlighted that the project will enhance APSEZ’s logistics footprint in southern India, while also supporting local manufacturing and boosting regional economic growth.

Adding to this, Kerala’s Honorable Minister for Law, Industries and Coir, Shri P. Rajeeve, noted that the project is not just a logistics hub, but a catalyst for inclusive growth and industrial transformation. By offering zero-touch, digitally integrated operations from gate entry to invoicing, the park will ensure enhanced customer convenience, real-time supply chain visibility, and operational transparency.
