Air India Express, a subsidiary of the Tata Group, has significantly strengthened its domestic network by launching six new daily flights. These additions are part of the airline's ongoing efforts to meet the growing demand for air travel across India, providing more connectivity options to passengers.

Chennai-Bhubaneswar

Chennai-Bagdogra

Chennai-Thiruvananthapuram

Kolkata-Varanasi

Kolkata-Guwahati

Guwahati-Jaipur

Detailed Schedule:

The Kolkata-Varanasi flight is scheduled to take off at 7:40 am daily, arriving in Varanasi at 9:05 am. The return flight will depart Varanasi at 9:40 am and land in Kolkata at 11:10 am.

The Kolkata-Guwahati flight will leave at 12:10 pm and reach Guwahati at 1:25 pm. The return leg will depart from Guwahati at 1:55 pm, arriving in Kolkata at 4:35 pm.

Exclusive Route:

The Guwahati-Jaipur route is particularly noteworthy as it is the first direct flight between these two cities, exclusively served by Air India Express. This new connection is expected to cater to the increasing demand for travel between the northeastern and northwestern regions of India.

Increased Frequency:

In response to the growing demand on the Chennai-Thiruvananthapuram route, which was previously served by only two weekly flights, Air India Express has now introduced an additional daily service. Air India Express currently operates over 380 daily flights with a diverse fleet of 82 aircraft, including 54 Boeing 737s and 28 Airbus A320s. This expansion not only underscores the airline's commitment to enhancing its domestic footprint but also aligns with its broader strategy to provide seamless travel experiences across India.
