  • New AI-powered software suite including Xtelify Work, Serve, IQ and Data Engine aims to simplify telecom operations globally

  • Strategic deals signed with Singtel, Globe Telecom and Airtel Africa to roll out Xtelify platforms in international markets

Bharti Airtel’s digital arm Xtelify has announced a major leap in India's digital infrastructure by launching Airtel Cloud, a sovereign, telco-grade cloud platform, and a suite of advanced AI-powered software platforms to help Indian enterprises and global telecom companies fast-track their digital transformation journeys. This is a strategic step that reinforces Airtel’s leadership in digital innovation, offering end-to-end solutions tailored to address modern business and telecom challenges.

A ‘Built in India’ Cloud for Indian Enterprises

At the core of this announcement is Airtel Cloud, a sovereign, next-generation cloud platform developed in India and designed to handle 140 crore transactions per minute for Airtel’s internal operations. Now being extended to Indian businesses, Airtel Cloud promises up to 40% savings in cloud expenditure, zero vendor lock-in, and secure migration—all while being hosted on sustainable data centres.

This cloud platform will be managed by 300 certified experts, uses Gen-AI-based provisioning, and offers Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) and Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) solutions. Telco-grade reliability, scalability, and compliance with India’s data residency norms make this cloud especially appealing to large-scale Indian enterprises handling sensitive data.

According to Gopal Vittal, Vice Chairman and MD of Bharti Airtel, “We are proud to bring Airtel Cloud, which has transformed our own digital operations, to businesses in India. All controls remain within India, ensuring complete data sovereignty.”

AI-powered Software Platform to Disrupt Telecom

Alongside Airtel Cloud, Xtelify launched a comprehensive AI-driven software platform tailored for global telecom operators. This futuristic stack includes:

  • Xtelify Work: A workforce platform designed to streamline real-time field tasks, dispatches, and resources

  • Xtelify Serve: An AI-driven customer service management platform with omni-channel integration

  • Xtelify IQ: A platform enabling secure and real-time omnichannel engagement

  • Xtelify Data Engine: A converged data solution for AI-led business insights and advanced analytics

This ecosystem is designed to tackle customer churn, improve Average Revenue Per User (ARPU), simplify operations, and ultimately enhance customer experience.

These platforms are fully integrated, highly scalable, and custom-built to be deployed quickly within telecom ecosystems around the world. Airtel has used similar tools internally to manage over 590 million customer touchpoints, demonstrating its efficiency at scale.

Global Strategic Partnerships to Fuel Growth

To expand its global footprint, Xtelify has already entered into three major international collaborations:

  1. Singtel (Singapore):
Xtelify will deploy Xtelify Work to equip Singtel’s field teams with AI-based fleet optimisation, real-time tracking, and automated task handling. This will result in better customer experiences and improved operational governance.

  2. Globe Telecom (Philippines):
With Xtelify Serve, Globe Telecom aims to transform its customer service processes, making them more empathetic, intelligent, and responsive. This includes using AI-driven case management to address customer issues with better clarity and care.

  3. Airtel Africa (14 Countries):
Xtelify will provide a complete software stack—including Data Engine, Xtelify Work, and Xtelify IQ—to enhance operations and customer engagement for Airtel Africa’s 150,000-strong field workforce. This will also help in fraud protection, spam mitigation, and developing micro-targeted strategies using real-time data.

Enabling Digital India and the Global Telco Ecosystem

Xtelify represents Airtel’s ambition to become a key enabler in India’s digital economy, offering services that go beyond connectivity into cloud computing, data-driven decisions, and AI-powered business processes.

For Indian enterprises, Xtelify’s offerings mean faster innovation, cost efficiency, data security, and the flexibility to scale operations without depending on foreign cloud service providers. This move also aligns with India’s policy focus on data localisation and digital sovereignty.

For global telecom operators, it brings battle-tested platforms from one of the world’s largest telcos. With its 24x7 managed services hub in Pune, Xtelify is geared to support telecom clients across time zones and geographies.
