Amarnath Yatra 2025, the much-anticipated 38-day annual pilgrimage, is all set to begin from July 3, 2025, with the first batch of pilgrims scheduled to leave from Jammu’s Bhagwati Nagar base camp on July 2. These proactive drills aim to reduce the impact of unpredictable weather conditions, landslides, and roadblocks which are commonly experienced in the region during monsoon season.

• Stay updated with official weather and route advisories.

• Avoid travelling in unauthorized vehicles or through unofficial routes.

• Follow instructions from security personnel and volunteers.

Additionally, medical checkpoints and oxygen booths have been set up at various altitudes along the route to aid pilgrims facing altitude sickness or exhaustion.

Digital and Offline Coordination for Seamless Yatra

While the online registration portal remains active, the offline registration centres in Jammu have been equipped with dedicated counters, biometric facilities, and real-time data sync to ensure that duplicate entries are avoided and pilgrim tracking is efficient.

Accommodation, Food, and Health Infrastructure in Place
