He further alleged that the Gandhi family has made it a habit to spread hatred against PM Modi, recalling that the attacks began when Modi was Gujarat’s Chief Minister and have continued throughout his tenure as Prime Minister. According to Shah, this was not just an insult to PM Modi but an insult to every mother and son in India, adding that the people of India would never forgive such an act.

Shah’s comments specifically targeted the Gandhi family, alleging that their politics thrives on creating divisions and spreading negativity. He said, “This clearly shows that the Congress party has returned to its old ways and character, through which it has always poisoned the country's political culture. From the time of being the Chief Minister of Gujarat until today, the Gandhi family has left no stone unturned in spreading hatred against Modi Ji. However, now they have crossed all limits of propriety. This is an insult to every mother, every son, for which 140 crore countrymen will never forgive them.”

JP Nadda’s Response

BJP National President JP Nadda also came forward to condemn the act, calling it an attack not only on PM Modi but also on Bihar’s cultural ethos. In a video address, Nadda stated:

“The so-called Vote Rights Journey of the Congress, in which the late mother of the country’s illustrious Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji was abused from the Congress-RJD platform, is highly condemnable and reprehensible. This is also a disregard for Bihar’s culture on the soil of Bihar by two princes who have crossed all limits of indecency. Rahul Gandhi and Tejashwi Yadav should immediately apologize for this heinous act.”

By referring to Rahul Gandhi and Tejashwi Yadav as “two princes,” Nadda took a direct dig at dynastic politics, which the BJP has consistently criticized as being detrimental to Indian democracy.
