On November 12, Union Home Minister Amit Shah launched a scathing attack on the Congress party, labeling it an "anti-reservation" party. Amit Shah also discussed the BJP’s intention to implement the Uniform Civil Code (UCC) in Jharkhand, a law that seeks to replace personal laws based on religion, customs, and traditions with a common legal framework for all citizens, irrespective of religion, caste, or gender. Shah assured that tribals would be kept out of the UCC’s ambit, acknowledging the unique cultural practices of tribal communities in Jharkhand.
