In the early hours of Friday, a tragic attack claimed the lives of 20 miners and injured seven others in Balochistan's Duki area. The incident occurred at a private coal mine operated by the Junaid Coal Company, where a group of armed men launched an assault using heavy weaponry, including rockets and grenades, according to local police sources. This violent attack not only caused devastating casualties but also left the local community in shock.

Humayun Khan, a police officer stationed in Duki, stated that the attackers targeted the mining site in the wee hours, catching the workers off guard. The heavy weaponry used in the assault caused extensive damage to the site, resulting in the tragic loss of life and injuries among the workers.
