Aurionpro Solutions, a leading technology and solutions provider, has bagged a significant contract valued at over ₹200 crore from the Municipal Corporation of Panvel (PMC). The contract, announced on September 11, 2024, is part of the ambitious "Safe City" initiative aimed at transforming the safety and security infrastructure of Panvel, a rapidly growing city in Maharashtra. Under this contract, Aurionpro Solutions will act as the technology partner, delivering, implementing, and maintaining a suite of surveillance and smart city technologies across Panvel. This will include cutting-edge AI-powered technologies such as facial recognition systems, automatic number plate recognition (ANPR), and an IP-based public announcement system, all designed to ensure the highest standards of public safety.

Scope of the Safe City Project

The contract spans a five-year period and includes the establishment of data centres, control command centres, and video analytics capabilities that will enable real-time monitoring. This will significantly boost the city's ability to respond to emergencies and enhance public safety, with a special emphasis on crime prevention and women’s security.

This initiative is also set to introduce an e-Challan mechanism, which will facilitate the automation of traffic violation fines, thus promoting road safety and reducing traffic incidents. Aurionpro Solutions aims to deliver these technologies within the first 12 months of the project, followed by a long-term maintenance and support phase.
