The newly deployed spectrum includes an additional 5.2 MHz on the 1800 band and 7 MHz on the 900 band. In the recently concluded Spectrum Auction, Bharti Airtel secured a total of 97 MHz of spectrum, which includes re-acquisition of expired spectrum holdings, expansion of its Sub-GHz spectrum, and efficient consolidation of fragmented spectrum blocks into continuous bands. This strategic acquisition enhances Airtel's position as a leading provider with the largest pool of mid-band spectrum.
