In an exclusive interview with NDTV, Kishor emphasized that there is currently no significant wave of anger against Prime Minister Narendra Modi or his government. “So far, we have not heard that there is widespread public anger against Modiji. There may be disappointment, unfulfilled aspirations, but we have not heard of widespread anger,” he stated. This observation is crucial as public sentiment plays a pivotal role in determining electoral outcomes. Discontent can lead to a desire for change, but Kishor notes that this sentiment is not strong enough at the moment.

Kishor also pointed out the challenges faced by the INDIA bloc, the opposition alliance. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has boldly predicted that the BJP will secure over 370 seats out of the total 543 in the Lok Sabha, with the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) clinching over 400 seats. In an interview with RTV Andhra Pradesh, he remarked, “The BJP can never win 400 seats.” He added that such predictions are largely speculative, stating, “It’s all guesswork and no one knows who will win how many seats.” Despite his skepticism regarding the exact figures, Kishor does not foresee a meaningful decline in the BJP and NDA's numbers.
