Notable attendees included Riteish Deshmukh, Saiee Manjrekar, and Shera, Salman Khan's bodyguard. Bhushan Kumar, Divya Khosla Kumar, Kushalli Kumar, Sajid Khan, Farah Khan, and Javed Jaffery were also present at the funeral, demonstrating the widespread affection and respect Tishaa commanded within the industry.
The family of Tishaa Kumar, including her father Krishan Kumar, has been deeply affected by her passing. T-Series released an official statement that read:
"Tishaa Kumar, daughter of Krishan Kumar, passed away yesterday after a prolonged battle with an illness. This is a difficult time for the family, and we kindly request that the family’s privacy is respected.”
According to a report by The Indian Express, Tishaa was diagnosed with cancer and had been undergoing treatment in Germany. Unfortunately, she passed away while receiving care there. The family is experiencing profound grief, and the Bollywood community is rallying to support them during this challenging time.

One of Tishaa's final public appearances was at the screening of Sandeep Reddy Vanga's Animal in November 2023. She attended the event with her father, Krishan Kumar, and was photographed on the red carpet alongside industry stars like Ranbir Kapoor, Rashmika Mandanna, Triptii Dimri, Anil Kapoor, and Bobby Deol. This appearance highlighted her active presence in the film industry, despite her ongoing health challenges.
Krishan Kumar is a prominent figure in Bollywood, known for his role in the 1995 film Bewafa Sanam. He co-owns T-Series with his nephew Bhushan Kumar. Krishan’s film career began with Lucky: No Time for Love, starring Salman Khan and Sneha Ulal, and he has produced numerous successful films including Ready, Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety, Thappad, and Animal. After the passing of T-Series founder Gulshan Kumar in 1997, Krishan took over the management of the company until his nephew Bhushan Kumar assumed control.
