School Closures and Safety Measures

One of the affected schools, Ahlcon International School in Mayur Vihar Phase 1, received a bomb threat email directed to the principal. In response, the school immediately informed the SHO-Pandav Nagar, and a bomb disposal squad was dispatched to the site. Along with the local police, the squad conducted thorough checks of the school premises, but nothing abnormal was found.

To ensure the safety of students, the school issued a message to parents explaining the situation:

"Due to an email threat received this morning, we are compelled to close school today, keeping the safety of our students in mind. The competent authorities are being contacted for further instructions and clearance."

Other schools in East Delhi and Noida also received similar threats, leading to temporary closures and increased vigilance. Schools followed established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to manage the situation and contacted authorities for guidance and clearance to resume operations.

Investigation Underway

In the wake of the bomb threats, Delhi Police and cybercrime units launched a full-scale investigation to trace the source of the email threats. The authorities emphasized the importance of public calm as they worked to identify the person or group responsible for the threats.

The police confirmed that after conducting security checks, no explosives were found in the affected schools. However, the investigation remains ongoing, with the authorities continuing to analyze the threat and its origins.
