Andhra Pradesh vs Karnataka: Aerospace Park Becomes a Battlefield

In a significant political twist, the Karnataka government's decision to cancel the land acquisition for the proposed aerospace park in Devanahalli has opened the doors for Andhra Pradesh to pitch for the same project.

Andhra Pradesh Minister Nara Lokesh wasted no time and invited aerospace investors to establish the facility in his state, promising better infrastructure and faster approvals.

On the other hand, Karnataka Industries Minister M.B. Patil has dismissed the need for relocation, stating that aerospace ambitions remain intact within Karnataka, just not in Devanahalli. The row underscores the competition between states for high-tech investments amid shifting policy priorities.
