Ladakh continues to await the promised benefits under the Sixth Schedule of the Indian Constitution, as Congress leader Jairam Ramesh sharply criticized the BJP-led government for inaction. Speaking ahead of the visit of Mongolian President Khurelsukh Ukhnaa to India, Ramesh asserted that the region has been neglected despite repeated assurances for special administrative status and developmental measures.
