14 Pending CAG Reports to Be Tabled

A major focus of the session will be the tabling of 14 pending CAG reports on the performance of the previous AAP government. These reports have been at the center of controversy, with BJP leaders accusing the AAP government of corruption and deliberately stalling the release of the reports.

During the AAP’s tenure, the BJP repeatedly demanded that the CAG findings be made public, but the then-ruling party delayed their release. Eventually, the BJP approached the court, demanding that the reports be tabled in the Assembly. With the BJP now in power in Delhi, the reports will finally be presented on February 25.

BJP MLA Vijender Gupta stated that the CAG reports will expose alleged corruption in the previous AAP administration. He claimed that the reports will provide details about mismanagement and financial irregularities in various government departments.
