On November 26, 2008, ten Pakistani terrorists launched a coordinated attack across Mumbai, targeting landmarks including the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (CSMT), two luxury hotels, and a Jewish community centre. The attackers infiltrated the city via the sea route, and the violent siege lasted nearly 60 hours, resulting in 166 deaths and hundreds of injuries.
