Dilip Buildcon Limited (DBL) has announced that its consortium with Ramky Infrastructure has been declared the Lowest (L-1) bidder for a major infrastructure project under the Rajasthan Water Grid initiative. The selection comes through a tender floated by Rajasthan Water Grid Corporation Limited (formerly Eastern Rajasthan Canal Project Corporation Limited) under the Hybrid Annuity Model (HAM).
Valued at ₹2,952 crore (including GST), the project involves the construction of a feeder system from Isarda to Khura Chainpura to Bandh Baretha (Bharatpur), including all associated components. In addition to construction works, the consortium will also undertake operation and maintenance (O&M) of the infrastructure for a period of 20 years.
The project is scheduled to be completed within 27 months from the date of signing of the concession agreement.
According to the disclosure filed with the stock exchanges, this is a domestic order, and none of the promoter or promoter group companies have any interest in the entity that awarded the contract. The transaction also does not fall under related-party transactions.
The awarding of this contract is expected to strengthen DBL’s order book further and reinforces its presence in large-scale rural and urban water transmission infrastructure. The project falls in line with the Government of Rajasthan’s objective of ensuring sustainable drinking water supply to water-scarce districts through the development of a dedicated water grid network.
The company also notified that, as per its Insider Trading Code and SEBI regulations, the trading window will remain closed for insiders and designated persons until 48 hours after this information becomes public.
With this latest win, Dilip Buildcon continues to cement its position as one of India’s leading infrastructure developers, particularly in the water, road and irrigation segments across India.
