GAIL (India) Limited has announced the nomination of four non-official Independent Directors (NoDs) to its Board, effective from March 28, 2025. The Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas (MOPNG) issued the approval for the appointments through their letter CA-31033/2/2021-PNG (39069), dated March 28, 2025. The nominated directors are as follows:

1. Shri Akhilesh Jain

2. Shri Sanjay Kashyap

3. Smt. Kangabam Inaocha Devi

4. Shri Yajurvendra Anil Mahajan

The appointment is in line with the governance framework stipulated by the Government of India, with the appointments set to last for one year, starting from the date of the communication. This will allow GAIL to further enhance its strategic decision-making process, leveraging the expertise and leadership of these distinguished individuals.

The company is actively taking the necessary actions to complete the appointment formalities and will submit requisite disclosures as per the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015.
