In a major political development following the BMC elections 2026, Ganesh Khankar has been appointed as the Bharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP) group leader in the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC). Representing Ward Number 7 in Dahisar, Khankar is set to lead the party in the civic body after BJP emerged as the single-largest party in the elections.
