In Rajasthan's Dausa district, a two-and-a-half-year-old girl named Neeru fell into a 600-foot deep borewell while playing in Jodhpura village. Trapped at a depth of 28 feet, Neeru's situation prompted an urgent response from local authorities and rescue teams.

The rescue operation commenced on the evening of September 18, 2024, and involved a dedicated team of 30 personnel from the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) and 10 from the State Disaster Response Force (SDRF). Their collaborative efforts spanned approximately 18 hours, during which they worked tirelessly to ensure Neeru's safe extraction.

Local officials, including Dausa District Collector Devendra Kumar and Dausa SP Ranjita Sharma, closely monitored the operation. The meticulous efforts of the rescue teams were met with success when Neeru was finally brought to safety.

After her rescue, Neeru was immediately transported to a government hospital for medical observation. She was reported to be in stable condition, and following the necessary checks, she was eventually reunited with her parents.
