Hero MotoCorp, the world’s largest manufacturer of motorcycles and scooters, has announced a key addition to its senior leadership team as part of its next phase of growth and transformation. The company has appointed Ms. Latika Taneja as Head of Corporate Communications, Corporate Affairs and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), effective August 19, 2025. The appointment has been formally disclosed under Regulation 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015.
In her new role, Latika will be responsible for building a unified and purpose-driven brand narrative, strengthening stakeholder trust and integrating social impact and sustainability into Hero MotoCorp’s long-term growth strategy. The company stated that her appointment comes at a pivotal moment as it continues to shape the future of mobility and drive sustainable and inclusive development.

Extensive Leadership Background
With more than 23 years of experience, Latika Taneja brings extensive leadership expertise in corporate communications, government relations, policy advocacy and CSR. She has previously served in senior positions at Shell, Mastercard, DuPont, Alcatel-Lucent and MetLife. Most recently, she held the role of Head of Corporate Relations at Shell India, where she established and scaled reputation and stakeholder initiatives across multiple geographies.
Latika is widely recognised as one of India’s Top 100 Public Relations Professionals and received the Women Disruptor Award for Excellence in PR (2019) in recognition of her leadership and impact in the field.
She holds a BA (Hons) in English from Lady Shri Ram College, a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Management from Symbiosis, and has completed an Executive Program at the Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS).
