Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Sukhvinder Sukhu has delivered on a significant election promise by announcing a groundbreaking initiative to provide financial assistance to women in the state. Under the newly introduced scheme, named the Indira Gandhi Pyari Behna Sukh Samman Nidhi Yojna, women aged 18 to 60 will receive ₹1,500 per month starting from the next financial year.
