Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Sukhvinder Sukhu has delivered on a significant election promise by announcing a groundbreaking initiative to provide financial assistance to women in the state. Under the newly introduced scheme, named the Indira Gandhi Pyari Behna Sukh Samman Nidhi Yojna, women aged 18 to 60 will receive ₹1,500 per month starting from the next financial year. This move is expected to benefit over five lakh women annually, marking a crucial step towards empowering women and enhancing their financial independence.

Chief Minister Sukhu expressed his delight in fulfilling this ambitious scheme, emphasizing the government's commitment to eradicating corruption and ensuring that the intended beneficiaries receive the support they deserve.
