The soldiers applied colors to each other, danced to DJ beats, and chanted ‘Bharat Mata Ki Jai’, showcasing their unwavering spirit despite their duty away from home.

Security Measures and Peaceful Festivities

With large crowds gathering for public celebrations, security personnel have been deployed in major cities to maintain law and order. In UP’s Sambhal, where people gathered at the Shiv Hanuman temple of Khaggu Sarai for celebrations, police patrolling was intensified to ensure peaceful festivities.

As Holi approaches, markets across India are bustling with shoppers purchasing colors, pichkaris (water guns), balloons, and festive decorations. This year, trendy and organic colors are in high demand, with shopkeepers introducing new varieties of pichkaris and herbal gulal. Households are busy preparing sweets, ensuring that the festive spirit extends from streets to homes.
