Bollywood star Hrithik Roshan has urged fans to protect the surprises in his upcoming film War 2, set to hit theatres worldwide on August 14 in Hindi, Telugu, and Tamil. Sharing a fresh 27-second teaser on X (formerly Twitter), the actor posted: “When #War2 begins, your mission is to keep the secrets safe! Say no to spoilers.”

The teaser showcased new high-octane action shots, heightening anticipation for the Ayan Mukerji–directed sequel. War 2 is the sixth installment in the YRF Spy Universe and a direct sequel to the 2019 hit War.

According to insiders, the film’s end credits will feature two game-changing Easter eggs, revealing major developments for the Spyverse’s future. These post-credits scenes are rumored to hint at either new characters or returning spy icons, with speculation that Aditya Chopra may announce the next big project in the franchise.

War 2 stars Hrithik Roshan, N. T. Rama Rao Jr., and Kiara Advani, alongside Ashutosh Rana and Anil Kapoor. Written by Shridhar Raghavan and Abbas Tyrewala from an original story by Chopra, the film promises high-scale espionage, action, and plot twists.

The release will coincide with Rajinikanth’s Coolie, a Lokesh Kanagaraj–directed Tamil action thriller featuring an ensemble cast including Aamir Khan, Nagarjuna, Shruti Haasan, and Sathyaraj—making this one of the year’s most anticipated box-office battles.

With fans already speculating on the plot and Spyverse connections, Roshan’s spoiler warning aims to ensure that the film’s surprises are experienced first-hand in cinemas.
