When fully operational, the bullet train will cover the 508 km distance from Mumbai to Sabarmati in just under three hours, including stops at all ten stations along the route.
The train will commence its journey in Mumbai and terminate in Sabarmati, with intermediate stops at Thane, Virar, Boisar, Vapi, Bilimora, Surat, Bharuch, Vadodara, Anand, and Ahmedabad. Out of the total route, 352 km will traverse through Gujarat and the Union Territory of Dadra & Nagar Haveli, while the remaining 156 km will be in Maharashtra. There are a total of twelve stations, with eight located in Gujarat and four in Maharashtra.
