This statistic highlights the growing influence and contribution of Indian nationals in the U.S. labor market and educational landscape. As of 2022, there were over 14 million college-educated migrants residing in the U.S., with a significant 48% of these individuals arriving between 2018 and 2022. Among them, approximately 2 million were Indian nationals, emphasizing India's pivotal role in shaping the demographics of educated immigrants.

Notably, during the specified period, 20% of new college graduates entering the U.S. hailed from India, showcasing the strong educational ties and aspirations of Indian students.

Further analysis of the data reveals that 68% of college-educated immigrants are under the age of 55, surpassing the 61% of U.S.-born graduates in the same age group.
