According to Chief Electoral Officer K Ravi Kumar, candidates will be able to submit their nomination papers between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. until October 25. This period allows candidates to officially declare their intention to contest in the upcoming elections.

Nominations will be thoroughly reviewed on October 28, and candidates will have until October 30 to withdraw their nominations if they choose to do so. This systematic approach ensures transparency and orderliness in the electoral process.

The Jharkhand Assembly elections will be conducted in two phases, with the first phase on November 13 and the second on November 20. The counting of votes is scheduled for November 23. A total of 2.60 lakh voters, including 11.84 lakh first-time voters, are expected to participate in this democratic exercise.

Among the significant constituencies included in this first phase are Kodarma, Jamshedpur East, Ranchi, and Garhwa.
