Opposition parties, including the BJP and JD(S), have requested an additional ₹5 crore for the development of each MLA’s constituency. BJP leaders, including state president B Y Vijayendra and Leader of Opposition R Ashok, have also submitted a demand for a ₹50 crore grant for infrastructure development, road construction, and improving basic facilities in all assembly constituencies.
