Gwalior Trade Fair: A Historic Event

The Gwalior trade fair is one of India’s largest and oldest trade fairs, dating back to 1905. It was established by the King of Gwalior, Maharaj Madhav Rao Scindia, and has since grown into a major commercial and cultural event.

The fair hosts large showrooms of national and international brands, attracting thousands of visitors every year. The recent fire incident raises serious concerns about fire safety measures at such large-scale events.

Investigations Underway

Authorities have launched an investigation to determine the cause of the fire. Preliminary reports suggest that the fire may have been caused by an electrical short circuit or other accidental factors. Officials will now assess damages and evaluate safety protocols to prevent similar incidents in the future.
