The Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) has opted out of the race, while Congress is supporting its INDIA bloc ally SP. The Aazad Samaj Party (Kanshi Ram) has also fielded a candidate, adding another dimension to the contest.

There are 255 polling centres and 414 polling stations set up for the election. To ensure free and fair voting, authorities have implemented extensive security arrangements, including:

• Webcasting at 210 polling stations and videography at 25 stations.
• 71 polling centres monitored by micro-observers.
• Nine flying squads, nine static surveillance teams, six video surveillance teams.
• Deployment of paramilitary forces, PAC, and civil police to maintain law and order.

Voter Demographics in Milkipur

The Milkipur seat is reserved for Scheduled Castes (SC) and has a total elector base of 3,70,829 voters, including:

• 1.93 lakh male voters
• 1.78 lakh female voters
• Eight third-gender voters
• 4,811 first-time voters
