NBCC (India) Ltd has recently made significant strides in its project portfolio by securing orders worth approximately ₹127.5 crore from a diverse range of clients in New Delhi. This development is a testament to the company's ongoing efforts to enhance its market presence and expand its operations within the construction and infrastructure sector.
The key highlight of this recent contract win is the substantial order from Oil India Ltd, which amounts to ₹51 crore. This order pertains to interior fit-out works at the World Trade Centre (WTC), specifically for the office space located on the 4th, 5th, and 6th floors of Tower K in Nauroji Nagar, New Delhi. This project will not only contribute to NBCC’s revenue but also reinforce its capability in managing large-scale projects for prominent clients in the public sector.
In addition to the order from Oil India, NBCC has secured multiple contracts from other notable clients, including:
▪ India Infrastructure Finance Company Ltd (IIFCL), which has awarded NBCC a contract worth ₹26 crore for conducting interior fit-out works at its office space located on the 3rd floor, Tower-E, WTC, Nauroji Nagar.
▪ Munitions India Ltd, providing an order valued at ₹3.3 crore for similar interior works at their office space in Tower-J.
▪ EDCIL India Ltd, which has commissioned NBCC for ₹9.9 crore worth of fit-out works at its office located in Tower-J.
▪ GS1 India, awarding an order of ₹16.9 crore for conducting interior works on the ground floor of Tower-B at the WTC.
▪ Bureau of Immigration (IB), which has entrusted NBCC with a contract worth ₹20.4 crore for interior civil works at their office on the 7th and 8th floors of Tower J.
These contracts cumulatively elevate NBCC's total order win to an impressive ₹127.5 crore, further bolstering its reputation as a reliable player in the construction sector. The projects are scheduled for completion by February 2025, marking a clear timeline for their execution.
Despite the positive news regarding new contracts, the stock performance of NBCC India Ltd saw a decline, trading 5.51% lower at ₹96.90 per share on the BSE around 1 PM on the announcement day. This reaction may reflect broader market trends or investor sentiments unrelated to the company’s operational performance.
As NBCC continues to expand its portfolio with significant orders from both public and private sectors, the outlook appears promising. The successful execution of these projects will be crucial in enhancing their operational capabilities and market position.
