-
The contract involves manufacturing and supply of GATR 70mm Guided Rocket components with execution timeline set till September 2026.

The company confirmed this under SEBI Regulation 30, noting it is not a related party transaction and promoter groups have no vested interest.
Nibe Limited, a prominent name in India's defence and industrial manufacturing sector, has officially announced the receipt of a significant international purchase order from Elbit Systems Land Ltd, an Israel-based global defence technology leader. The total contract value amounts to approximately USD 700000, which translates to INR 6.12 crore, for the manufacture and supply of GATR 70mm Guided Rocket (10km) parts.
This latest development was disclosed via a formal regulatory filing under Regulation 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015. The order highlights Nibe Limited’s growing international footprint and recognition in the defence manufacturing space.
According to the company’s official communication, Elbit Systems Land Ltd is a well-established global player known for advanced land-based defence technologies. The deal involves designing and producing specific components for the GATR 70mm guided rocket system, which is known for its precision strike capabilities over a 10-kilometre range.
The delivery and execution of this contract are expected to be completed by September 2026, allowing Nibe Limited a substantial lead time to manage production and delivery logistics.
The official filing clarifies that the contract was awarded by an international entity and does not fall under any related party transaction category. Furthermore, the promoter or promoter group of Nibe Limited holds no stake or interest in Elbit Systems, thereby eliminating any potential conflict of interest or corporate governance concerns.
This announcement adds to Nibe Limited’s growing list of international orders, reflecting the company’s ability to compete in highly specialised defence manufacturing domains. The GATR 70mm Guided Rocket is a sophisticated and high-precision munition system used in several countries’ armed forces, further reinforcing the strategic nature of this order.
The financial consideration of INR 6.12 crore is expected to positively impact the company’s top line over the next fiscal cycles. This development comes at a time when India is significantly enhancing its defence manufacturing capabilities under the Make in India and Atmanirbhar Bharat initiatives, making Nibe’s deal with a foreign defence giant a matter of national industrial significance.
Nibe Limited’s production facility, located at Plot No E-2/2, Phase III, MIDC Industrial Area, Nanekarwadi CT, Khed, Chakan, Pune, Maharashtra, will be the operational hub for the execution of this order. The manufacturing will include precision engineering and assembly of key rocket system components, likely involving stringent international quality controls and security protocols.
The company’s spokesperson, Komal Bhagat, Company Secretary and Compliance Officer, filed the intimation and reiterated the company’s commitment to international quality standards, compliance with SEBI norms, and on-time delivery. She also stated that the contract further establishes Nibe’s positioning as a reliable defence manufacturing partner globally.
In response to the order, analysts tracking India’s defence sector noted that this kind of deal strengthens India’s growing reputation as a trusted defence supplier. Moreover, the deal could open new avenues for repeat business and deeper bilateral industrial ties between Indian manufacturers and Israeli defence firms.
Nibe Limited, which has been steadily expanding its technological capabilities and manufacturing footprint, is now in a stronger position to leverage global defence supply chains. The company's efforts align with India's broader defence export policy, which aims to make the country a net defence exporter by encouraging indigenous development and international collaboration.
The SEBI filing also included a detailed Annexure outlining all relevant aspects of the deal, including the name of the awarding entity, scope of work, duration, order size, and confirmation that there is no promoter interest involved. This transparency aligns with SEBI’s enhanced disclosure norms announced in November 2024, aimed at improving investor confidence and corporate accountability.
Looking ahead, Nibe Limited is expected to continue pursuing similar opportunities in the global defence sector, especially as international clients increasingly turn to Indian firms for cost-effective, high-quality, and timely defence manufacturing services.
The successful execution of this contract could also serve as a benchmark for other Indian defence companies aspiring to participate in the lucrative and competitive international arms supply chain.
With this development, Nibe Limited adds a significant milestone to its operational history, aligning its trajectory with India’s strategic goal of becoming a global hub for defence production and export.
