Union Petroleum and Natural Gas Minister Hardeep Singh Puri on Thursday assured the nation that India is not facing any fuel shortage, stating that the country has sufficient crude oil supplies and robust arrangements in place to meet domestic demand.

Amid growing global concerns over energy supply disruptions due to escalating tensions in the Middle East, the minister emphasised that India’s crude oil supply position remains secure and urged citizens not to believe rumours or spread misinformation regarding fuel availability.

According to Puri, India’s energy security strategy, which focuses on diversification of crude oil sources and strengthening international partnerships, has helped the country withstand the impact of the ongoing geopolitical crisis.

India’s Crude Oil Supply Position Is Secure
