Ola Electric Mobility Limited, India’s largest pure-play energy and EV company, showcased its ‘India Inside’ vision at its annual संकल्प (Sankalp) 2025 event. This vision reflects Ola Electric’s commitment to building products in India, powered by indigenous technology, ensuring supply chain sovereignty and innovation across the EV ecosystem.
India Inside Vision
The ‘India Inside’ vision focuses on vertical integration and self-reliance, emphasizing that all critical components, including batteries and motors, are designed, engineered, and manufactured in India. Ola Electric aims to provide world-class mobility solutions that are entirely Made in India, supporting the government’s Atmanirbhar Bharat initiative and positioning India as a global hub for electric mobility.
4680 Bharat Cell Integration
Ola Electric announced the integration of India’s first indigenously developed 4680 Bharat Cell into its vehicles. The company highlighted the S1 Pro+ 5.2 kWh and Roadster X+ 9.1 kWh, priced at ₹1,69,999 and ₹1,89,999 respectively, with an additional ₹10,000 discount available till 17th August. The S1 Pro Sport, featuring 5.2 kWh and 4 kWh battery packs, starts at ₹1,49,999 with deliveries beginning January 2026.
The 4680 Bharat Cell enables higher energy density, longer range, and faster charging, making Ola Electric vehicles more efficient and competitive. By producing batteries in India, the company reduces dependence on imported cells, strengthening the national EV supply chain.
Launch of Ferrite Motor
Ola Electric unveiled India’s first indigenously developed ferrite motor, which eliminates rare-earth magnets, ensuring complete supply chain independence. This motor will be deployed starting Q3 FY26 in a phased manner, providing efficient, cost-effective, and eco-friendly power for Ola’s two-wheelers. The introduction of rare-earth-free motors also mitigates global supply risks amid geopolitical uncertainties.
S1 Pro Sport – Sports Scooter Category
The S1 Pro Sport introduces performance-oriented features including gas-charged rear suspension, retuned front forks, 14-inch wheels, traction control with Rain, Urban, and Track modes, and enhanced aerodynamics with carbon-fiber detailing. It is powered by a 16 kW motor paired with a 5.2 kWh 4680 Bharat Cell, delivering an IDC range of up to 320 km and top speed of 152 kmph. Acceleration is rapid, achieving 0–40 kmph in just 2 seconds.
S1 Pro+ and Roadster X+
The S1 Pro+ 5.2 kWh features a 13 kW motor, IDC range up to 320 km, and top speed of 141 kmph. The Roadster X+ 9.1 kWh, with an 11 kW motor, offers a range up to 501 km and top speed of 125 kmph, achieving 0–40 kmph in 2.7 seconds. Both vehicles will be delivered starting Navratri 2025 under the Freedom offer with limited-time discounts.
MoveOS 6 – AI-powered Operating System
Ola Electric released MoveOS 6, an AI-powered operating system with 25+ features designed to enhance rider safety, efficiency, and experience. MoveOS 6 includes:

Targeted for launch in 2027 at under ₹5,00,000, it represents Ola Electric’s vision for cutting-edge mobility technology, blending human-machine interaction, safety, and high performance.
Gen 4 Platform
The Gen 4 modular platform underpins all upcoming vehicles across 2W, 3W, and 4W. Improvements over previous platforms include:
