  • Yogi Adityanath accused Pakistan of openly supporting terrorists, citing the attendance of officials at terrorist funerals.

  • India's Operation Sindoor targeted 9 terror locations in PoK and Pakistan after the Pahalgam terror attack in Jammu & Kashmir.

  • Adityanath urged citizens to support the military, stay alert to fake news, and draw inspiration from Maharana Pratap Jayanti.

In a powerful address during the celebrations of Maharana Pratap Jayanti, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath criticized Pakistan for its blatant support for terrorism, especially after recent retaliation by India. Speaking about India's decisive military action, Adityanath pointed out how Pakistan’s senior military officers and politicians attended the funerals of terrorists killed in India's retaliatory strikes. This, he said, should be a wake-up call for the international community regarding Pakistan's growing involvement in terrorism.

Adityanath also referenced the April 22 terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, in which innocent tourists were targeted. He emphasized the strong response by India, especially Prime Minister Narendra Modi's firm resolve to protect the nation. India’s retaliation, including precise missile strikes on nine terror targets in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK) and Pakistan itself under Operation Sindoor, was highlighted as a clear message to Pakistan.

The Uttar Pradesh CM stated that Pakistan is no longer merely a safe haven for terrorists but is actively involved in perpetrating terrorism, positioning itself as a direct threat to its own survival. “Pakistan is not just sheltering terrorism but is entangled in it so deeply that its very existence is at stake,” Adityanath remarked.

Further, the CM called upon the citizens to maintain national unity, especially during these testing times. He urged all Indians to support the armed forces and stay vigilant against any efforts to destabilize the country through misinformation. Adityanath cautioned against rumors being spread through social media, stressing the importance of ignoring such distractions and placing faith in the leadership of Prime Minister Modi.

“India will prevail, there is no doubt,” said Adityanath, reinforcing the sentiment of strength and resilience. He also used the occasion of Maharana Pratap Jayanti as a reminder to stand united with the country's security forces, reinforcing the importance of national unity in such challenging times.

This statement comes at a time when tensions between India and Pakistan have escalated, and Adityanath’s remarks underscore the growing concern over Pakistan's actions on the global stage. The call for unity and support for the armed forces has resonated across the nation, urging citizens to stand firm in the face of adversity and contribute to safeguarding national security.
