Patel Retail Limited, a retail supermarket chain operating primarily in tier-III cities and nearby suburban areas, has announced its Initial Public Offering (IPO) worth ₹242.76 crore. This book build issue will comprise a fresh issue of 0.85 crore shares aggregating to ₹217.21 crore and an offer for sale (OFS) of 0.10 crore shares aggregating to ₹25.55 crore.
The subscription window for the Patel Retail IPO opens on August 19, 2025, and will close on August 21, 2025. The allotment of shares is expected to be finalised by August 22, 2025, and the shares are scheduled to list on both the BSE and NSE with a tentative listing date of August 26, 2025.
The price band for the IPO has been fixed between ₹237 and ₹255 per share. The lot size for retail investors is 58 shares, requiring a minimum investment of ₹13,746. For small non-institutional investors (sNIIs), the lot size is 14 lots (812 shares) amounting to ₹2,07,060, while for big non-institutional investors (bNIIs), the lot size is 68 lots (3,944 shares) amounting to ₹10,05,720.

Incorporated in 2008, Patel Retail Limited opened its first store under the brand “Patel’s R Mart” in Ambernath, Maharashtra. As of May 31, 2025, the company operated 43 stores across suburban areas of Thane and Raigad districts in Maharashtra, covering a total retail space of approximately 1,78,946 sq. ft.
The company offers a wide range of products, including food, non-food (FMCG), general merchandise, and apparel. To improve profit margins and strengthen brand recognition, Patel Retail has developed private label brands such as:
