Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to visit Dadra and Nagar Haveli, Daman and Diu, and Gujarat on March 7-8, 2025, to inaugurate a series of development projects aimed at enhancing the welfare and infrastructure of these regions. During his visit, the Prime Minister will focus on improving healthcare, boosting economic growth, and empowering women.

On March 7, 2025, PM Modi will first travel to Silvassa in Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu, where he will inaugurate the NAMO Hospital (Phase I). This hospital, with a capacity of 450 beds and an investment of over Rs 460 crore, will strengthen the region's healthcare infrastructure, especially for the tribal communities. At 2:45 pm, the Prime Minister will also inaugurate and lay the foundation stone for multiple development projects worth over Rs 2,580 crore. These projects include the construction of village roads, schools, health centers, and Anganwadi centers, aimed at improving public welfare, promoting tourism, and creating employment opportunities.

Later, PM Modi will travel to Gujarat and launch the Surat Food Security Saturation Campaign in Limbayat, Surat. Under this initiative, benefits under the National Food Security Act will be distributed to over 2.3 lakh beneficiaries, aiming to strengthen the food security system in the region.

On March 8, 2025, in celebration of International Women's Day, PM Modi will attend the Lakhpati Didi program in Navsari, Gujarat. Here, he will interact with and felicitate Lakhpati Didis—women who have become financially independent through government initiatives. He will also launch two significant programs, G-SAFAL (Gujarat Scheme for Antyodaya Families for Augmenting Livelihoods) and G-MAITRI (Gujarat Mentorship and Acceleration of Individuals for Transforming Rural Income). These programs are designed to support rural livelihoods and assist startups focused on rural economic development.

Additionally, PM Modi will distribute appointment letters at the Rozgar Mela and hand out benefits under schemes like the PM Awas Yojana (Urban), Gir Adarsh Aajeevika Yojana, and Sylvan Didi scheme. The Gir Adarsh Aajeevika Yojana aims to empower women from marginalized communities through small dairy farms, while the Sylvan Didi scheme supports women street vendors by providing them aesthetically designed carts, co-funded under the PM SVANIDHI scheme.

PM Modi's visit underscores his commitment to women’s empowerment, economic growth, and the socio-economic development of India's regions, ensuring a sustainable and inclusive future for all.
