Priyanka holds a BA (Hons) degree in Psychology from Delhi University, and she has pursued a Postgraduate Diploma in Buddhist Studies through distance learning from the University of Sunderland, UK. Despite her wealth, she has some liabilities, including a loan of Rs 15.75 lakh.

The affidavit also highlights two First Information Reports (FIRs) registered against Priyanka Gandhi. The first, filed in Madhya Pradesh in 2023, is under sections 420 (cheating) and 469 (forgery) of the IPC. It is based on allegations related to misleading tweets posted by her. The second FIR was filed in Uttar Pradesh in 2020, related to her protest during the Hathras incident.
