The box office success of Pushpa 2: The Rule continues to defy expectations, with the action-packed sequel of Pushpa: The Rise maintaining its dominance even on its 21st day of release. Directed by Sukumar and starring Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna, the film earned nearly ₹20 crore net on Wednesday, December 25, bringing its total net collection in India to ₹1,109.85 crore. This achievement has propelled Pushpa 2 to become India’s No. 1 film in terms of net collection, surpassing Baahubali 2, which held the top spot previously.

Despite falling short of Baahubali 2’s gross collection, Pushpa 2 remains a strong contender with ₹1,299.4 crore in gross earnings, only behind Baahubali 2, which grossed ₹1,416 crore. The film's net earnings are impressive, but it still trails Baahubali 2 in total earnings due to the latter’s higher worldwide gross.

Pushpa 2 has demonstrated a remarkable ability to maintain audience interest as it enters its third week. On Christmas Day, the film experienced a 36.21% increase in earnings, bouncing back after a 60% drop on Monday. This boost helped the film reach a total net collection of ₹19.75 crore for the day.

The regional breakdown for Pushpa 2’s earnings is as follows: it earned ₹4.1 crore in Telugu, ₹60 lakh in Tamil, ₹4 lakh in Kannada, and ₹1 lakh in Malayalam on Day 21. The Hindi version performed exceptionally well, earning ₹15 crore on Christmas Day alone, helping push the total net collection of the Hindi version to ₹716.65 crore.

For its 21-day run, Pushpa 2 has amassed a total net collection of approximately ₹1,109.85 crore. Of this, ₹316.3 crore came from the Telugu version, and ₹716.65 crore was from the Hindi version. The Tamil version earned ₹55.35 crore, while the Kannada and Malayalam versions earned ₹7.48 crore and ₹14.07 crore, respectively.

On the global stage, Pushpa 2 has grossed an impressive ₹1,547.4 crore, making it the third Indian film to cross the ₹1,500 crore mark worldwide, following the monumental success of Baahubali 2 and Dangal. Its overseas earnings stood at ₹248 crore, while its total gross collection in India was ₹1,299.4 crore. The film's success is a testament to the widespread appeal of the franchise and the star power of Allu Arjun, whose portrayal of the character Pushpa Raj continues to captivate audiences across regions.

As Pushpa 2 continues to shatter box office records, it’s clear that the film’s popularity shows no signs of waning.
