Quality Power Electrical Equipments Limited (BSE: 544367; NSE: QPOWER), a leading Indian multinational in high-voltage power equipment, announced on August 8, 2025, that it has received a significant order valued at approximately ₹34.75 crores from Abu Dhabi Transmission Company, a Fortune 500 utility based in the United Arab Emirates.

The order entails the supply of both Dry-Type and Oil-Filled Shunt Reactors, which will be manufactured using Quality Power’s proprietary Dry-Q technology at its global manufacturing facility in Sangli, Maharashtra, India. The deliveries are scheduled to be completed over the next 12 months.

This contract strengthens Quality Power’s position as a trusted supplier in the UAE power sector, a market where it has previously executed major projects including coil products for the UAE’s HVDC interconnection.

Mr. Waingankar, Head of Coil Product Sales at Quality Power, commented on the achievement:
“Despite stiff competition from European and Chinese manufacturers, we secured this order at healthy margins due to our proven technical expertise, consistent project performance, and focus on long-term reliability. The UAE market’s demand for quality and reliability has allowed us to deepen our presence in critical grid applications.”

He further noted the increasing global demand for coil products, especially in the U.S., driven by supply shortages despite tariff challenges, highlighting the company’s growth opportunities beyond traditional markets.
