Chadha passionately argued that the Bharat Ratna would be made more dignified by honoring a figure who stood as a beacon of courage for generations of Indians.

For Raghav Chadha, Shaheed Bhagat Singh is a deeply personal figure, with the MP expressing his admiration for Bhagat Singh as an "idol." "His revolutionary ideas and unwavering courage not only challenged British rule but have inspired countless future generations to continue the fight for freedom," Chadha remarked.

Highlighting the need for immediate action, Chadha urged the government to act swiftly, stating, "If the Bharat Ratna is conferred on Shaheed Bhagat Singh, future generations will remember this Parliament with gratitude."
