Mr. Shankar Venkatachalam joins the ZF Group with a wealth of experience, totaling over 20 years in the automotive industry. His extensive career has primarily focused on key account management, project management, and driving market growth within the automotive sector. Prior to this role, he worked with ZF India (formerly WABCO), where he held several leadership roles. His responsibilities included being a Key Account Manager, Project Management Leader, and Project Manager for air compressors. His professional journey also includes a tenure at Ashok Leyland from 2006 to 2013, where he held various positions such as Project Leader and Manager.
A graduate with a Master’s in Industrial Engineering from The Ohio State University, Venkatachalam’s appointment as Senior Management Personnel marks a key development for the ZF Group in India. With his experience in handling complex automotive projects and leading key accounts, he is expected to contribute significantly to ZF’s continued success and growth in the Indian market.
