In a serious late-night incident, Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader and former Deputy Chief Minister of Bihar, Tejashwi Yadav, narrowly escaped a major mishap when a speeding truck collided with vehicles in his convoy near Goraul in Hajipur, Bihar. The crash left two people seriously injured, while several others sustained minor injuries.

The accident occurred on National Highway 22 around 2 am on Saturday, June 7, 2025, when Yadav’s convoy had stopped briefly for tea during his journey from Madhepura to Patna.

“The truck crashed just five feet from where I stood. Had there been even a slight imbalance, the vehicle could have hit us directly.”
