Tata Chemicals Limited, one of India’s leading chemical companies, has announced changes in the senior management personnel (SMPs), effective from April 1, 2025. These changes come as part of the company’s internal reorganization aimed at optimizing leadership roles and bolstering its focus on strategy and sustainability.
Key Management Changes:

Rajesh Kamat has moved from his previous role as Vice President – Sales & Marketing to become the Head of Strategy & Corporate Projects. Rajesh Kamat brings over 6 years of valuable experience at Tata Chemicals and has worked across various senior roles in Sales & Marketing and Strategy. Prior to joining Tata Chemicals, he has over 23 years of experience in organizations such as Larsen & Toubro, Tata Strategic Management Group, Accenture, Britannia Industries, and Piramal Enterprises. He holds a B. Tech in Chemical Engineering and a Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) with a focus on General Management.

Alok Chandra, who joined Tata Chemicals in April 2022, will now take on an expanded role. In addition to his responsibilities as Chief - Health, Safety & Environment, he will now also lead the Sustainability function. Alok Chandra has over 18 years of experience in various Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) roles in companies like DCM Shriram Ltd, United Phosphorus, and SRF Chemicals. His academic credentials include a Chemical Engineering degree, a Post-Graduate Diploma in Industrial Safety, and a Post-Graduate Diploma in Business Analytics - Human Resources. Under his leadership, Tata Chemicals aims to further enhance its commitment to Zero Harm and sustainability excellence.

The internal reorganization aims to create a more agile leadership structure, focusing on critical areas like corporate strategy and sustainability.
