The Commissioner of Police (CP) for Pimpri Chinchwad confirmed the unfortunate news, stating, "Three people died in the incident." Senior officials from the Pimpri Chinchwad Police arrived at the scene to assess the situation and coordinate rescue efforts.

Reports indicate that the helicopter was carrying three individuals at the time of the crash: two pilots and one engineer. The precise cause of the crash remains undetermined, but local officials highlighted that foggy conditions were prevalent in the area during the morning. BJP Corporator Dilip Vedepatil, who visited the crash site, noted, "There were 2 captains & 1 engineer onboard. There was fog in the morning; it should not have flown, but they went ahead anyway." He expressed concern over the safety of the helipad, emphasizing that an audit has not been conducted. He stated, "To ensure that such incidents do not occur again, we the locals would try to get this helipad shut down."
