Urja Global Limited, a government-recognised and publicly listed renewable energy company, has been officially registered and empanelled with the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE) and all State and Union Territory DISCOMs for the implementation of the flagship rooftop solar scheme – Har Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana.

This announcement was made on 17th June 2025 via a regulatory filing to both BSE (Scrip Code: 526987) and NSE (Symbol: URJA), pursuant to Regulation 30 of SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015.

The Har Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana, launched by Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji, aims to provide free electricity to Indian households through rooftop solar installations.
