He also praised the arrangements made for the ongoing Mahakumbh in Prayagraj, acknowledging the efforts of Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath for the efficient management of the event.

Ongoing Mahakumbh 2025 in Prayagraj

The Mahakumbh 2025 in Prayagraj, which started on January 13, 2025, on Paush Purnima, has already become the world’s largest spiritual and cultural gathering. This year’s event has drawn millions of devotees from all over the globe and is expected to set new records for attendance and participation. The grand gathering will continue until Mahashivratri on February 26, 2025. The ongoing cultural performances at Mahakumbh 2025 showcase the vibrant diversity of India’s artistic heritage, with renowned artists and cultural performances lighting up the event.

Notable performances include Suresh Wadkar’s Sugam Sangeet, Padma Shri Madhup Mudgal’s Hindustani Classical Music, and Odissi dance by Sonal Mansingh on February 9, 2025. The final day of cultural performances on February 10, 2025, will feature Hariharan’s Sugam Sangeet, Shubhda Varadkar’s Odissi dance, and Sudha's Carnatic music performance. However, cultural programs will be paused from February 11 to 13, in observance of the Magh Purnima Snan on February 12.
