Viviana Power Tech Limited, a leading EPC player in power transmission and distribution projects up to 400KV, has announced the receipt of a significant turnkey contract worth ₹59,41,29,828 (Rupees Fifty Nine Crore Forty One Lakh Twenty Nine Thousand Eight Hundred Twenty Eight Only) from Punjab State Power Corporation Limited (PSPCL).
In a regulatory filing dated 14 August 2025, the company disclosed that the order, inclusive of taxes, is for the supply and execution of LT and HT infrastructure loss reduction works under the Revamped Distribution Sector Scheme (RDSS) in the state of Punjab. The execution timeline for the project is 24 months from the date of issuance of the Notice of Award (NOA).
This contract holds strategic importance for Viviana Power Tech as it represents the company’s first-ever project in Punjab, opening doors to a new geographical market in Northern India. The company emphasized that the client, PSPCL, is a new addition to its portfolio, marking an expansion of its customer base beyond its existing regional strongholds.
According to the disclosure filed under Regulation 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015, the order is entirely domestic in nature and does not constitute a related party transaction. The work order was received on 13 August 2025 at 8:15 PM, with no delay in reporting.
Viviana Power Tech, headquartered in Vadodara, Gujarat, is engaged in EPC projects for power transmission and distribution, specializing in execution of turnkey contracts across India. With this contract, the company further strengthens its position in the country’s power infrastructure segment, aligning with the government’s push for modernization and loss reduction in electricity distribution networks under RDSS.
Industry experts note that entry into Punjab’s power distribution segment could pave the way for more contracts in North India, especially with the state’s focus on infrastructure upgrades. For Viviana Power Tech, securing such a high-value order not only boosts its order book but also diversifies its regional exposure.
This development comes at a time when India’s power sector is undergoing rapid transformation, with substantial investments being directed toward reducing transmission and distribution losses, modernizing grid infrastructure, and improving reliability of supply. Viviana Power Tech’s proven capabilities in delivering large-scale EPC projects position it as a strong contender for similar contracts in the future.
With the new contract in hand, the market will watch closely for updates on the project’s execution milestones over the next two years, as well as any follow-on orders from PSPCL or other state utilities.
