Websol Energy System confirmed that Sanjana Khaitan ceased to be a Director after shareholders did not approve her reappointment.
The change was disclosed under SEBI LODR regulations with details shared in the exchange filing on October 3, 2025.
Sanjana Khaitan, Executive Director and granddaughter of MD Sohan Lal Agarwal, retired by rotation and was not reappointed.

Websol Energy System Limited, a reputed player in the renewable energy and solar power industry, has formally announced a change in its board-level management following the outcome of its Annual General Meeting (AGM) held on 29 September 2025. The development was disclosed in an official communication dated 3 October 2025, filed with both the National Stock Exchange of India Limited (NSE) and the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE).

According to the filing, Ms. Sanjana Khaitan, who had been serving as Executive Director, has ceased to hold her position as the members of the company did not approve her reappointment. This is in accordance with the Companies Act provisions which state that directors who are due for retirement by rotation may be reappointed only if approved by shareholders.

The company clarified that this cessation of directorship took place with effect from 29 September 2025, the date of the AGM.
